Our founders (Husband and wife duo) Tim and Diane Madden opened the first Dungarvin program, an ICF/MR serving 15 people, in St.
Paul, Minnesota, in March 1976.
Tim and Diane were the live-in houseparent's for that first program.
Through the success of that program Dungarvin has grown to employ approximately 4,000 people who currently provide supports to over 4,000 individuals across 14 states.
Job Description The Area Supervisor / House Manager will serve as a Lead DSP/ Supervisor to our Direct Support staff in our group homes in Owensboro! This person will also work direct care shifts as needed.
Supervises the provision of assistance to person(s) served in order to promote their physical, social, and psychological well-being, including staff interactions with person(s) served, and promotes the rights of the person(s) served to achieve an enhanced quality of life.
Ensures that each person served has an activity schedule developed and implemented and monitors and ensures staff follows procedures to promote optimum health care and behavior supports, including implementation of services outlined in person(s) served service plan and staff training.
Monitors and ensures staff completes all documentation as required to ensure quality services.
Monitors employee labor hours and ensures assigned service sites are operating within budgetary guidelines.
Responsible for person served funds, receipts and proper documentation.
Ensures that staff are deployed appropriately and that staffing ratios are compliant with regulatory and service plan requirements.
Ensures schedules are prepared and posted in a timely manner and efficiently utilizes staff.
Conducts timely performance reviews and conducts staff counseling and corrective actions including work improvement plans and follow-up.
Provides timely and appropriate feedback and oversight on staff documentation, including daily progress notes, data sheets and incident reports.
Assists with the review and tracking of incident and accident reports and participates as needed with investigations involving persons served and employees at assigned service sites.
Ensures applicable OSHA compliance standards are met and all related training occurs.
Documents training and compliance in accordance with Dungarvin regulatory requirements.
Other duties as assignedQualificationsPreferred BA/BS in Business, Health Care Administration or Social Scienceor high school diploma/GED and equivalent work experience of three yearsOne year of supervisory experience requiredPrevious experience providing services and supports to individuals with developmental disabilities and/or related disorders preferredExperience managing systems, processes and peopleMust meet all agency requirements for pre-employment as required by Dungarvin and/or State regulationsAdditional Information SKILLS THAT WILL HELP YOU EXCEL:

Time management and self-management skills necessary.
HOURS WORKED:
Full time expected to work 40
hours weekly.
The Area Supervisor's schedule must be flexible to accommodate various program, individual, and staff needs.
Office hours are typically 8:
00am - 5:
00pm, Monday-Friday.
Must be able to cover shifts, attend staff and individual meeting, advisory board meetings, etc.
that may fall outside of standard business hours.
Additionally, effective supervision of staff requires the Area Supervisor be present at various hours in the home to monitor performance, including late night, early morning, and weekend hours.
The Area Supervisor will have on-call responsibilities and will need to take emergency calls.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
