Job Description
Purpose:
Customer Service Representative (CSR) must exhibit strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills in order to provide exceptional service to the Device Support Center (DSC) customers.
CSR is responsible for the completion of daily operational duties, open/close procedures, and other job related tasks as requested by the DSC Manager, Supervisor and/or Lead CSR.
Principle Accountabilities/Duties:
Lead by example in maintaining DSC cleanliness and organization in line with company standards
Participate in the consistent execution and maintenance of all DSC operational duties
Ensure all customer protected information (CPI) policies/practices are consistently observed and maintained without failure
Ensure attention to detail in all written communication relative to customer accounts
Maintain a strong, positive image as an ambassador of the AT&T brand.
Proven record of consistently providing positive customer experiences
An interest in selling and a desire to learn sales techniques in a non-commissioned environment
Ability to work retail hours, which may include rotating schedules nights, weekends, holidays and overtime when applicable
While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to upset customers. The employee is occasionally exposed to work that requires repetitive motion.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
The employee must have the ability and willingness to work flexible retail hours, which includes rotating schedules, nights, weekends, holidays and overtime, as well as, travel as needed.
Job Requirements
Minimum (MUST HAVE)
Qualifications:
Technologies/ techniques.
Demonstrates functional and/or process knowledge and participates in process.
Requires high level of competency related to function.
Ability to read and comprehend and interpret moderately complex instructions.
Comfortable navigating in Windows operating system.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
Can perform analyses/work using some independent judgment.
Preferred (NICE TO HAVE) Qualifications :
Demonstrates advanced technical skills.
Education or Training:
Requires a High School Diploma, vocational or technical training, or equivalent experience.
Typically requires 2 years of related experience with face to face customer service experience.
