Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care and support to individuals with mental health disorders - Conduct patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans - Implement crisis intervention techniques to de-escalate potentially volatile situations - Facilitate group therapy sessions to promote emotional well-being and social interaction - Utilize cognitive behavioral therapy techniques to help patients develop coping skills and manage symptoms - Provide care and support for individuals with developmental disabilities - Administer art therapy activities to promote self-expression and emotional healing - Assist in the implementation of PTSD care plans for individuals who have experienced trauma - Provide chronic pain counseling to help individuals manage their pain and improve their quality of life Skills:
- Strong crisis intervention skills to effectively handle emergency situations - Proficient in patient assessment techniques to evaluate mental health needs - Knowledge of PTSD care strategies and interventions - Familiarity with cognitive behavioral therapy principles and techniques - Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities - Understanding of ICD-10 coding for accurate diagnosis and treatment planning - Ability to facilitate group therapy sessions and create a supportive environment - Knowledge of art therapy techniques and their therapeutic benefits - Proficiency in chronic pain counseling approaches and strategies - Familiarity with medical terminology related to mental health Note:
