Pius X Daycare by demonstrating courteous and professional behavior towards parents, children, and staff.
Provide for the health and welfare of the children by maintaining a clean and safe environment at all times.
Maintain positive, open, communication with the families.
Interact with children in a positive manner.
Use nursery rhymes, songs, books, and conversation.
Follow all policies and procedures.
Work with all staff as a team.
Use consistent, appropriate, and positive actions to guide children's behavior.
Maintain accurate, complete, up-to-date records on children and staff.
Maintain confidentiality of all children and their families.
Notify Director of supplies and equipment that need to be purchased.
Follow program guidelines in reporting suspected child abuse.
Meet with Church Staff as needed.
Continue to work daily to improve facilities maintenance.
Staff meeting/memo monthly to keep all staff up-to-date on the facility.
Be open to new suggestions.
Make sure the children are always the first priority.
15 Hours of childcare training per year through Audubon Area, KET, or any state certified training courses.
Make sure sign in and out sheets and monthly attendance is completed daily.
Safe Environment training as required by Diocese.
Confidentiality:
regarding fellow staff.
Skills Experience as a child care / daycare teacher is a plus Creative and outgoing Patience, flexibility and love for children Strong communication and time management skills Certificate in first aid and CPR is a plus Job Types:
