Grace Christian Academy is a private, Christian school in its 4th year of operation.
We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Director of Advancement to join our team.
This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on our school's growth and development.
Job Description:
As the Director of Advancement, you will play a crucial role in advancing Grace Christian Academy's mission, to glorify God by equipping students with a spiritually and academically solid Christian worldview, by fostering relationships, securing funding, and promoting our institution's growth.
You will work closely with the school's leadership and stakeholders to implement fundraising strategies, manage donor relationships, and drive our facility capital campaign.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Grant Writing and Management:
Identify and pursue grant opportunities to secure additional funding for the school.
Prepare compelling grant proposals and manage the grant application process.
Facility Capital Campaign:
Develop and execute a strategic plan for a facility capital campaign.
Engage with donors and supporters to secure contributions for facility improvements and expansions.
Donor Relations:
Cultivate and steward relationships with current donors, ensuring their continued support.
Identify and engage with potential new donors to expand our supporter base.
Fundraising Events:
Organize and oversee fundraising events and initiatives to raise funds for the school's operation.
Collaborate with staff and volunteers to ensure successful events.
Marketing and Communications:
Collaborate with the marketing team to create materials that promote the school's mission and fundraising efforts.
Maintain a strong online and social media presence to engage with supporters.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a related field (Master's degree preferred).
Proven experience in fundraising, grant writing, and donor relations.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent organizational and project management abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
