We are currently looking for an Engineer I/ Engineer II/ Engineer III for our Houston, TX or Owensboro, KY office.
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Responsible for complying with 192 subpart O requirements, CFR 195.
452, Texas Railroad Commission and applicable LADNR requirements (primarily integrity management), interaction with Company Engineers, Project Managers, and third-party Contractors.
Additional responsibilities may include:
Participation and support in various State and PHMSA audits Performs integrity data gathering, validation and analysis to support compliance with various IMP requirements Assists in ongoing research and data loads of the risk model Facilitate annual risk results review with non-risk personnel (i.
e.
, Area Managers, Operations VPs, etc.
) Conduct annual Rupture Mitigation Valve (RMV) analysis for Senior Executive Approval Annual assistance in reviewing and updating Threats and the HCA Baseline Assessment Plan Review and assistance with Preventive and Mitigating actions in HCA's Assist with Mega Rule Assessment Plan development and maintenance Perform Emergency Flow Restricting Device (EFRD) analysis as needed Perform a Cyclic Fatigue Analysis periodically Additional items as necessary to aid in the success of the Integrity Management ProgramREQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND
Experience:
Ability to read, understand, and apply directions, policies, procedures, guidelines, requirements, and regulations Excellent problem solving and written and verbal communication skills Well organized with a high degree of initiative and motivation Strong computer applications skills including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Knowledge of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Must be willing and able to travel 15% of timePREFERRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND
Experience:
Background in natural gas or hazardous liquids pipeline Working knowledge of pipeline regulations 49CFR192 and 49CFR195, as well as industry standards such as API 5L, ASME B31.
8S Pipeline Integrity Management Subpart O and Mega Rule experience would be very beneficialREQUIRED EDUCATION:
BS in Engineering from an accredited UniversityPREFERRED EDUCATION:
BS/MS degree in Engineering from an accredited universityADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
