On-Site Application Portfolio Manager

Insight Global is looking for an on-site Application Portfolio Manager to join one of our local retail clients in Owensboro, KY.
This individual will be responsible for taking ownership for the application services throughout the lifecycle from service introduction, enhancement and maintenance, to decommissioning.
The objective is to efficiently uphold agreed functionality, high availability, adequate performance and adequate usability of services in scope, as well as to further develop the service to support and drive business capability development.
In doing so, the Application Portfolio Manager shall drive competitiveness of the service from a comprehensive perspective, including functionality, performance and cost.
Furthermore, this person will be an advocate of service purpose, value, direction and usage, and will be managing selected activities and projects.
Responsibilities include:
Serve as point of contact and lead collaboration among business stakeholders and colleagues across the technical teams to evaluate ideas and define solutions to needsDrive the service teamsOrganize, oversee and drive enhancement, management, maintenance and licensing of assigned applications with internal and external partiesEnsure robust, performance optimized, efficient, scalable, reusable, secure and value adding designs to fulfill solution requirementsContribute in sourcing new services and suppliersBuild and manage relationships with and follow up on deliveries from companies that supply products and services to the organizationManage projects and activities including define and execute project/activity scope, time plan and budgetThis Application Portfolio Manager will support the Application Services Center which is responsible for developing, operating and enhancing application services supporting a broad scope of business capabilities, including Marketing, R&D, Planning, Procurement, Production, Supply, Sales, Business Control and Accounting and Reporting.
They will be collaborating with different service teams including business, IT and vendor partnerships.
Strong oral and written communicationSelf-sufficient work ethic and openness to lead a team6-8 years of overall experience supporting an application portfolio3-5 years of vendor management experienceWorking knowledge of the software development life-cycleHands-on experience managing the application lifecycleExperience managing manufacturing applications Recommended Skills Accounting Application Lifecycle Management Communication Financial Management Hardworking And Dedicated Internal Controls Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
