Duties include developing, launching, and managing customized training and assessment options reflecting the latest trends in manufacturing and related industries.
This position works closely with employers to identify and validate skills and competencies for training programs and assessments that align with industry needs.
This position also provides training instruction as needed.
Job Duties:
Coordinate the launch and delivery of customized training programs and workforce assessments.
Design and implement innovative training options for industry partners focusing on the latest trends in automation and advanced manufacturing technologies.
Promote Workforce Solutions' industry training opportunities and workforce assessments to regional companies.
Facilitate employer meetings to determine training and/or assessment needs.
Work with industry partners to confirm proposed training competencies align with their workforce needs.
Ensure that industry partners are engaged and involved throughout the entire process.
Provide training instruction to adult students including both incumbent workers and dislocated workers.
Supervise instructors and other personnel involved in training and assessment projects.
Participate in college activities, appropriate professional development, and other position-related responsibilities as assigned by the VP of Workforce or OCTC President.
Minimum
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree and five (5) years of relevant work experience in manufacturing or related environment OR Associate degree and seven (7) years of relevant work experience in manufacturing or related environment OR High School Diploma and nine (9) years of relevant work experience in manufacturing or related environment Preferred

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
