Routine household tasks and maintenance Activities of daily living Personal hygiene Shopping Money management Medication management Socialization Relationship building Leisure choices Participation in community activities Therapeutic goals Nonmedical care not requiring nurse or physician intervention Direct Support Professionals are hired to support a variety of schedules/positions offered at the organization for individuals with intellectual disabilities.
Positions:
-Classroom Facilitator and/or supporter -Residential Home support (8 hours shifts to support 24/7 week in home) -Community Direct Support Professional (1:
1 in community and/or in home) Responsibilities and Duties All staff will be asked to help clients reach these goals through providing prompting, instruction, and using strategies in which in learned on the job.
Puzzle Pieces' staff will provide services that require documentation of care, support, and progress either daily, weekly, and/or monthly.
All staff will be asked to fill out paperwork documenting progress towards goals set forth by parents' of the clients, the director, while also having to document details or progress through daily timesheets for the client they are assigned supervision over.
On any given day staff could be asked to help support making our organization successful.
This mean not only ensuring the success of our clients, but maintaining the cleanliness of our facility and promoting our mission to our community.
Qualifications and Skills You must have graduated from high school.
